    All of our gardens begin with a one-hour New Garden Consultation or Existing Garden Evaluation. Once we meet, we can draft a design and estimate customized to your space, goals, and budget.

    Once you’ve approved the garden design, our team will install a garden that is beautiful, productive, and works seamlessly with your existing space, or offer the support to help you install it yourself.

  • Garden Maintenance by Umbel Gardens

    3. Maintain

    We offer a variety of 100% organic maintenance options to best fit your budget, space, and needs, and always welcome you to join us during our session so you can learn.

  • 4. Mentor

    Our one-on-one Garden Coaching sessions will give you great foundational knowledge to grow a bounty of organic food and help troubleshoot any setbacks along the way.

What is a Kitchen Garden?

A kitchen garden is a space to grow herbs, edible flowers, leafy greens, vegetables, and fruit for everyday use inside your kitchen. It’s a garden intended to be harvested fresh - some arugula with your morning eggs, a few handfuls of cherry tomatoes for a Caprese salad, or a spring of rosemary to garnish your happy hour beverage.

A kitchen garden is as tasteful to the eye as it is to eat. It is an extension of your home; a calming space right outside your door, where you can escape and connect with nature. It’s a space where you’ll experience the magic of a tiny seed, watch bees fall asleep on flowers, and fall in love with the smell of tomato leaves.

    We offer clients a choice of weekly, bi-monthly, monthly or seasonal maintenance visits. We don’t use harmful chemicals, and we prioritize building soil health and pollinator habitat to create landscapes and gardens that are good for you and good for the earth.
